I watched The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and was shocked at how much I loved it. I mean I knew I would like it, but I had no idea I would like it this much! I'm sad I missed the chance to see it in theaters. I can't really describe it, but I can say that the film's clever wit and colorful imagination is reminiscent of Time Bandits combined with the social political comedic commentary not seen since the Monty Python films. I can see why this film was in development hell for years, but perhaps it was worth the wait.
