Movie of the Year

This was one category that caused me no turmoil at all. The choice was easy because the choice was innocence and hope. My favorite movie of the year was...

Millions

Rarely does a movie come along that inspires you to be a better person. This was one of those films. My heart broke and healed all in an hour and a half. Rent Millions on DVD, you'll see.

I wish I had a top 5 in this catagory, but sadly I dont. Sure Batman Begins was amazing and yeah yeah Revenge of the Sith ended an era but nothing stuck in my heart like Millions.

Tomorrow... Album of the Year
Thursday....Man of the Year

Comments:
Thanks for reminding me about this one. Never got around to seeing and will now go and add it to my Netflix list. But what about woman of the year????

lindak - i knew someone (you) would rib for a woman of the year catagory. truth is there really isnt one best woman because ALL WOMEN RULE.

I actually have Millions sitting at home from Netflix waiting to be watched. I've read so many good things about it. And, I'm hoping to see a movie redeem the concept of the Golden Rule as it was horribly mangled by Pay it Forward. I hated that movie.

wait a minute where's 2-5? you can't get out that easy, this is a top five thing, get back to the drawing board, I want to see 2-5.

i cant do 2-5 NOTHING WAS WORTHY!!!!

ideas?

I haven't seen Millions but it's in my queue. I love Danny Boyle's work, at least what I've seen so far, but Millions seems quite different.

As far 2-5, nothing may have stuck in your heart like Millions, but that's why it's number 1 and the other movies would be 2-5. Like you said, Batman Begins, Episode III, Sin City, A History of Violence, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Crash, and of course King Kong. And that's just what I've seen. I've heard great things about Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, Walk the Line, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Constant Gardener, Munich, Capote, and Brokeback Mountain.

There's a few suggestion to get you started. :)

Millions is movie of the year, mmmm. you have me intrigued, i must see it.

yeah, umm, still waiting xtine. thanks ethan.
