People are talking about the National Enquirer story that alleges Bush is back on the booze. Apparently after news of Hurricane Katrina hit, Bush downed very large sized shot prompting an exclamation of "Stop George!" from Laura.

While I think it is totally sad that he (or anyone for that matter) falls back into the pattern of addiction, I cant help but wonder if it is really such a bad thing. I mean think about the decisions Bush has made sober. Maybe a drinking Bush is exactly what we need to realign the country's course and fix our karma.

Could this be a turning point for America? Time will tell.
